Celebrate National Trails Day in Woodridge
Woodridge, NY – Saturday, June 7th from 10:00-11:00AM, the public is invited to join Trailkeeper.org partners for a National Trails Day celebratory hike. The American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day® is the country’s largest celebration of trails. Following the hike, come along to the opening day of the Rock Hill Farmers’ Market.
Meet at 9:45AM at Krieger Park on Greenville Road in Woodridge, NY to explore an easy 3.6 mile segment of the the former tracks of the Ontario & Western Railway company -- granted a second life as the “Rails to Trails” hiking and biking path.
