Hike into Spring at the Bashakill
Spring is almost here, and what better way to celebrate the new season than enjoying the beauty of the Bashakill's tranquil wildlife habitat with an award winning Bashakill Vineyards glass of wine in hand? This year Catskill Mountainkeeper’s Trailkeeper Network will be teaming up with CD Trips LLC to offer ecotourism packages including interpretive hikes followed by visits to local amenities including vineyards, restaurants, museums and more.
We are very excited to launch our eco-tourism initiative at the awe inspiring Bashakill Wildlife Management Area and Bashakill Vineyards this Spring, on Saturday, March 29th, 2014 at 12:00pm.
Originating from Orange County with bus pickups in Monroe, Goshen, Middletown and Circleville we will host an educated hike of the beautiful Bashakill with a certified tour guide, followed by wine tastings at the Bashakill Vineyard, accompanied with live entertainment by Denis Newberg.
