Please join Wild Woods Restoration Project, Catskill Mountainkeeper, and graduate students at Vassar for a local ecotypic native plant and seed meet up at the Vassar Environmental Barns on Friday, November 13th, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. (We will provide lunch onsite.)

Learn about the new Catskills/Northeastern Highlands (EcoRegion 58) Native Plant and Seed Alliance; dive into collection, propagation, seed cleaning, saving, and selling resources; discover new initiatives (like Seeds in Common and the Garden Club of America’s nascent Seed the Future National Seed Initiative); network with friends and peers; and cap your day with a Seed Swap focused on seeds and plants from Ecoregion 58! 

This networking and educational meeting is for everyone working on increasing access to and use of local ecotype plants and seeds in ecoregion 58 and is supported by the Catskills Native Plant and Seed Alliance and the Northeast Seed Network.
