SUNY SULLIVAN OFFERS NEW COMMUNITY LEARNING CLASS:
NUTRITION & WELLNESS IN THE CATSKILLS

SUNY Sullivan in partnership with Catskill Mountainkeeper is proud to announce the second installment of Nutrition & Wellness in the Catskills, a free online class presented in partnership with Catskill Mountainkeeper. Taught by local farmer and nutritionist Eugene S. Thalmann, Nutrition & Wellness in the Catskills aims to inspire, providing practical life advice. The program airs via Zoom on Wednesday, May 12th from 6:30 - 7:15 pm. For further information, email [email protected].

For this second class, we will be talking about the following:

1. The chemistry of food preparation and how to compile different meals.
2. Different dietary modalities, their benefits, and aspects they have in common, which is to eat more plants.
3. The benefits of fasting and cleansing.
4. Expand upon the conceptual framework of how foods can aid in the natural healing process.
5. How appreciating nature can nourish our being, ie. we don't just nourish our bodies through food.

Nutrition & Wellness in the Catskill is not intended to treat, prevent or diagnose any illness. It is simply
designed to provide participants with a little extra help on their wellness journeys.
