But invasive pests like the hemlock woolly adelgid and the emerald ash borer threaten Catskills forests and bring with them the potential to decimate our sensitive ecosystems and way of life.

In this webinar, Catskill Mountainkeeper's Conservation Director, Kate O'Connor will talk with scientists Jonathan Rosenthal and Radka Wildova of the Ecological Research Institute, Mark Whitmore from Cornell University, and Gary Lovett of the Cary Institute for Ecosystem Studies about their cutting-edge research and findings. Touching on everything from effective biocontrols, to potential policy solutions, and what landowners can do to help, we'll spend the hour getting familiar with what's happening in the woods and our role in protecting the Catskills forests.
