Hurleyville, NY – In response to today’s news that Attorney General James and Department of Environmental Conservation are suing 29 companies for illegal dumping in Ulster County, Catskill Mountainkeeper’s Executive Director, Ramsay Adams, issued the following statement:

Catskill Mountainkeeper has actively engaged in fighting rampant illegal dumping across Ulster County since 2018, and we’re grateful for today’s actions by the state as well as the dozens of organizations, thousands of Mountainkeeper supporters, and the impacted neighbors and communities who have been pushing to bring these criminals to justice.
