Developers are pressuring the Town of Saugerties to approve new developments with large-scale water requirements, like Winston Farm and other proposed projects that could compound a looming water crisis—just as we're beginning to recover from a months-long dry spell and weeks-long drought emergency.

You can help protect existing water users and water supplies in Saugerties by speaking out with Mountainkeeper at the Winston Farm Public Hearing on September 21st at 6 pm, in person at the Frank D. Greco Senior Center at 207 Market Street, Saugerties NY 12477.
