Protecting wilderness in the Catskill region and fighting for environmental justice in our communities takes input from legislators and community members alike, and Mountainkeeper is committed to helping spark and facilitate these critical mutual conversations. To start 2023 off right, Mountainkeeper and our allies are hosting a free Zoom webinar on February 2nd–Catskill Park Day–that will connect key NY State decision makers with our friends and supporters. The online discussion, which will take place from 6:15-7:15 pm, will explore specific obstacles facing our region, possible solutions to pressing problems, and actions we all can take to help enhance life in the Catskills and protect everything that makes this region so special.
We hope you’ll join us for this conversation, which will end with a moderated Q&A session. Participants will have a chance to ask our panelists questions about the many opportunities and challenges facing the Catskills most on their minds, and so we encourage you to come ready with topics you’d like the group to address. This webinar is free and will be closed captioned for greater accessibility, but you must register in advance to participate.
