Rally to Repeal The Resolution: - Don't Industrialize Seneca Lake!

Please join us Monday, July 14th for an urgent rally to protect Seneca Lake from the gas industry! We will gather

in Watkins Glen to oppose the resolution recently passed by The Schuyler Legislature in support of Crestwood's expansion of their underground gas storage on the shores of Seneca Lake. Despite the ongoing opposition by residents and business owners, Crestwood is moving ahead with their plans....

Seneca Lake is the largest of the eleven Finger Lakes that make up a complex system of lakes and rivers in central New York State known as Oswego River Basin. Seneca Lake is a drinking water source for over 70,000 people in central New York State. This rally is to make it clear that Crestwood should NOT be allowed to industrialize to Seneca Lake. It will take all of us to overturn this dreadful decision and protect Seneca Lake from the gas industry's inevitable onslaught of trucks, trains, and pollution.
