Hope and Challenges within the Climate Crisis

Join us from 3-5pm at 1053 Gallery in Fleischmanns, NY on November 4th, for an extraordinary art exhibition and panel discussion, Hope and Challenges within the Climate Crisis, featuring Dr. Kathy Nolan, Catskill Mountainkeeper’s Senior Research Director, among an impressive lineup of speakers. The event showcases 'Atlas/Watershed,' a stunning collection of paintings, map collages, and monotypes by the talented Chichester, New York-based artist, Christie Scheele.

Scheele's work delves deep into her personal connection with water, intertwining it with the political landscape and environmental battles. The event brings together Scheele and eight local experts engaged in climate and biodiversity advocacy. They'll share actionable insights for making a positive impact on the environment and offer opportunities for hope. Don't miss this enlightening conversation! Ten percent of exhibition sales are being donated to Catskill Mountainkeeper, Beyond Plastics, and other environmental causes, and we thank Christie for both her vision and her generosity.
