At 12:00pm on Thursday, April 21, Mountainkeeper’s Deputy Director Katherine Nadeau and Associate Director Wes Gillingham will host a “Lunch & Learn'' webinar focusing on the details of the New York's Climate Action Council’s (CAC) draft climate plan. Katherine and Wes will walk you through the most important features of the plan, which include a path for New York to achieve a carbon-free future, policy that prioritizes environmental justice for communities most affected by the climate crisis, and investments in renewable energy to protect our communities and create sustainable jobs. 

This webinar will give you the tools you need to effectively advocate for solutions, jobs, and justice in your comments to the CAC, and will help you testify at the CAC's public hearings being held throughout NYS from now until the end of May.
