Sign a Petition for a National Moratorium on Fracking
Sign a petition urging President Obama to put a moratorium on new drilling permits nationally until the first credible peer-reviewed study of the effect of hydraulic fracturing, currently underway by the EPA, is completed, and its results are studied and its recommendations can be implemented.

Continue to fight against drilling in the Delaware Watershed
Public pressure makes a big difference. Call the Governors of the member states and President Obama today. Tell them “I am extremely opposed to drilling in the Delaware Watershed especially without proper due process and environmental impact studies”.

Express Your Concern About the Potential of Fracking Lowering Your Property Values
Write to Governor Cuomo and your legislators to tell them of your concern that hydraulic fracturing could decrease the value of your property and lower your ability to sell or refinance it by making it impossible to get a mortgage. Support Home Rule
Please respond to Senator Seward’s survey on his legislative Agenda for 2012 and help pass a home rule bill. We are looking to get as many people to answer ‘YES’ to question #3 which says, “Do you favor local government addressing natural gas drilling/hydro fracturing as a function of home rule through local zoning?”
Pro-drilling forces are trying to pressure the Senator to drop this provision from his agenda. He needs to hear from as many people as possible that you are in favor of local governments addressing fracking through zoning.
