April 29, 2010
(Thursday)
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
On the Steps of the
Staten Island Borough Hall
Richmond Terrace
.....
WE HAVE SCHEDULED THIS RALLY AT A TIME WHEN MOST PEOPLE ARE HOME FROM WORK, SO PLEASE ATTEND AND TELL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
IF YOU LIKE, BRING A SIGN (NO STICKS ATTACHED).
IF YOU LIVE IN BROOKLYN OR ANY OTHER BOROUGH, PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL PUT YOU IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE HOLDING A RALLY IN THAT BOROUGH.
EVERYONE IN NYC WILL BE AFFECTED BY CONTAMINATED WATER, SO THE MORE PEOPLE THAT ATTEND THE LOUDER THE MESSAGE TO GOVERNOR PATTERSON!
Your water is about to be contaminated and you will pay to filter it. Send a letter to Governor Paterson asking that he prohibits drilling for gas in the New York City Watershed. This drilling would pollute the drinking water for 9 million people and would lead to the raising of our taxes to build a $30 billion NYC filtration system.
The Honorable David A. Patterson
Governor of New York
Executive Chamber
