As a continuation of the County Farmland Protection Plan update, Sullivan County is seeking input from farmers and agri-service businesses. During National Agriculture Week from March 17-21, More than 700 community members around the state will be volunteering to read “Who Grew My Soup?” by Tom Darbyshire to classrooms in grades 1-3. This book is about a young boy who goes on an adventure to discover the source of the vegetables in his soup and it features characters based on real vegetable farmers.
