On Friday, May 31st, Catskill Mountainkeeper is organizing a community roadside cleanup of one of two sections of Route 28. Come out and lend a hand to keep this well-traveled Catskill roadway beautiful and trash free. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss local issues with Catskill Mountainkeeper’s staff and to hear about Mountainkeeper’s initiatives. The clean-up begins at the Phonecia Diner in the center of Phonecia (681 New York 28) at 9:30 am and will end around 12 pm. Personal protective equipment will be provided.
