All ages are welcome to tour the gardens.  The event also features garden activities – including making recycled plastic bottle herb planters and bird feeders, painting garden signs, and fun food-web games.  All activities are free.

Visiting times and gardens locations are:

The Catskill Edible Garden Project works with schools and communities to increase access to healthy local food and promote educational efforts to raise awareness about food resources and nutrition.  The project offers the opportunity for hands-on youth development experience and exposure to food and agriculture as important aspects of our community, culture and potential career opportunities.

The Catskill Edible Garden Project is a collaborative partnership among: Catskill Mountainkeeper; Cornell Cooperative Extension; Green Village Initiative; Sullivan Renaissance; and the Center for Workforce Development.
