On the April 5th call-in day New York residents must show their united strength and demand that Senator Grisanti cosponsor the ban bill and move it up for a vote! Can you take a moment to call? The call is easy to make and will help build momentum for a ban on fracking across the state. It only takes a few minutes and makes a big difference. Here’s how:
On Thursday, April 5th, between 9am and 5pm, call the senator and tell him to BAN fracking now!
Senator Grisanti (head of the Senate Environmental Conservation Committee) at 877-796-1949
Tell them your name and where you’re from, and then simply tell them that they must protect New Yorkers by co-sponsoring bill 4220, a ban on fracking.
Sample script for Grisanti: “Hi, My name is ______ and I live in (city, state). I believe it’s Senator Grisanti’s duty, as head of the Environmental Conservation Committee, to protect New York’s land and people by banning fracking through cosponsorship of bill 4220. Thank you for your time today.”
