New Leader for Catskill Center
ARKVILLE, NY (2008-09-18) The Catskill Center for Conservation and Development was central to the negotiations on the proposed Belleayre Ski Resort and lost its former director to the state department of parks, recreation and historic preservation a few months ago. Lisa Rainwater, who has spent the past few years working with Riverkeeper and other groups opposed to the Indian Point Nuclear Plant, recently moved into the corner office in rural Arkville.
