One or the primary missions of Catskill Mountainkeeper is to educate our constituency about the threats and opportunities in the Catskill Region.  The goal of this website is to give you the information that you need to work with us to develop a plan for our region that doesn’t sacrifice our unique and vulnerable environment. The articles on this website are designed to provide comprehensive information on the issues that we face.

Part of learning is teaching our young people about the value of our land and our agrarian heritage.  Catskill Mountainkeeper has just launched the Catskill School Garden Project, a program to help schools create and sustain gardens and provide students with a hands-on learning experience.
