Catskill Mountainkeeper is working with local communities to promote carbon awareness so that we can reach a net-neutral footprint. By lowering the heat in our homes slightly in the winter months, eating food that is grown locally, and other simple and often healthy changes in our life styles, we can reach our goal to reduce our contribution to the global climate problem.  This can be done by increasing our use of alternative renewable energy, greening our schools, homes and workplaces and implementing a zero waste infrastructure.
