Trailkeeper.org has been a great success since its launch in 2012, with over 150,000 site visits to date.
But we’re just getting started.
We are eager to improve the Trailkeeper.org site with new content and functionality. To do that, we'll work with a professional website designer and developer to improve mapping functions, improve data links, and refine page layout – all of which will make Trailkeeper.org even easier to use!
Our planned improvements include:
Advanced Search - Want to find a challenging snowshoeing trail that has a warm spot for a good lunch nearby? Or a beginner’s walking trail near a playground? Wondering what trails are most easily accessed from public transportation? Our new advanced search option will make it easy to find the right trail for you.
Mapping - A new interactive map will show all trails in Sullivan County, and clearly link them with nearby food, lodging and other activities.
Mobility - You're on the go – and Trailkeeper.org should be too. Our planned mobile upgrade will allow you to easily view and navigate trailkeeper.org on your mobile phone.
To make these website improvements, we need to raise $5,000 to pair with a matching grant from the O'Connor Foundation. You can make a donation directly to our Indiegogo Campaign!
