On August 10th, The Weather Project blows into Eldred, NY from 2-5 PM. The event is FREE and for the whole family. Come learn about The Weather Project and the many ways to get involved over the next 12 months. There will be amazing performances by the Ottawa Stilt Union, Doug Rogers and the Hoy Polloy, Strike Anywhere Performance Ensemble, and trumpeter Tom Verchot). There will be interactive art booths for puppet-making, building an umbrella forest, as well as exhibits about weather and energy by our community partners. In the evening, NACL Theatre hosts a live music show at the theatre by Collabonation Productions (doors open at 8 PM).. Don’t miss the beginnings of an exciting community adventure!
Featuring stilters from Ottawa Stilt Union performing “La Toilette,” our own Wind Walkers Stilt Squad, live music by Doug Rogers and Hoy Polloy, a sound painting demo by Strike Anywhere, amazing interactive activities by Sullivan Alliance for Sustainable Development, and visual art workshops, followed by live music by Collabonation Productions during the evening at NACL Theatre.
