The Frack Waste Stream: From Gas Well to Your Well?

What you need to know about Frack Waste Water

On Monday February 6th, 2012 at the Saugerties Public Library Community Room at 7 pm, Esopus Creek Conservancy and Frack Free Catskills, will be hosting a program on Fracking- Wastewater and its danger to our community. This will be out second collaboration this year. As both organizations are primarily concerned with protecting the water and land of our communities, the issue of hydrofracking is critical to us.

We will show a brief video about the process of hydrofracking and will have a speaker, Matthew Burd, who will speak about Waste Water Treatment plants and others who will speak about the use of frack waste water as de-icers on roads.

We will look at what other communities have done to protect themselves from these dangers of frack waste water.

Please join us. For information call Sue Rosenberg @ 246-3449
