Chefs for the Marcellus Benefit: Spring Fling and Pesto Competiton!

Please join us at Ger-Nis Culinary and Herb Center for herbal appetizers & nibbles, herbal cocktails and other libations by Wolf and Deer and Ger-Nis, cooking demonstrations, music by Evan Swamm Trio, and information about how people who love our local food and water can fight fracking. Pesto judges: Heather Carlucci-Rodriguez, Jimmy Carbone, Mary Cleaver, Matt Timms, and Tamar Adler. Competing chefs: Maneet Chauhan, Nissa Pierson, Cathy Erway, Rafael Hasid, Pierre Thiam, and Louisa Shafia.  And more!

$25 minimum donation.


Chefs for the Marcellus, a campaign that Baum Forum helped launch, is a group of chefs, restauranteurs, and other food professionals who have come together to protect our regional foodshed from the dangers of hydraulic fracturing (fracking) for natural gas.
